A third of this country is cheering for Trump. A third is apathetic or uninformed. A third is opposed.

Within the third that is opposed, half are adults, 90% of which are resource constrained. The other 10% of 50% of 33% - yielding 1.67% - have sufficient resources to choose their own destiny and are opposed to this nation's actions.

And they spend their resources buying adequate overpriced southern Italian food at Élephante from servers and cooks who don't earn a living wage.

That's 5 million people earning six figures. If even 20% of them left, the nation would face a fracture that would change its course.

20% would be well in excess of a hundred billion dollars of annual high skill labor that could leave in a single year.

They could have an experience most Americans aspire to; living abroad for a while. The people at that income level are high demand labor, it would not be difficult to get work visas. Anyone even close to $2m in assets can also comfortably retire in Europe and half that will get you most of the rest of the world.

We could stop what is coming without violence. For most, it would even be an enriching experience overall, though admittedly with some hardship mixed in.
